Movie Ad project

The first image is for a billboard ad that would be at the top of the screen on your computer. My movie is a romance movie, and after researching ads for other romance movies, I saw that almost all of them are simple, with a romantic couple and a simple background. I made the title very large and added a few effects to the text. I added a quote from a review to give an idea of how the movie was well received. I got a picture of a couple kissing from pexels.com which offers free photos. I cut the couple out of the background of the image and placed them in my new image. I added a gradient effect to make it look like the sun was shining on them from the corner. I used a splatter brush to add the spots on the right side. The target audience is young women and teenage girls, so I wanted to appeal to them. For the second image, it is a portrait ad, which would be on the side of your computer screen. The other portrait ads I saw had large text to grab your attention, so I made the quote to be the prominent text. I used another free image of the sky as the background image. I used most of the same effects on this image as well.
