I used a few techniques to edit this image. I raised the clarity in Camera Raw to increase the midtones. Then, I converted it to greyscale and used the shadows sliders under the Split Toning icon to create Duotone.

I tried the quad toning technique to enhance this image. I increased the clarity and other tones in Camera Raw and then changed it to greyscale mode. Then I opened the Duotone menu in Photoshop and chose a custom preset that I thought looked nice.
